YOU HAVE QUESTIONS?

WE HAVE ANSWERS.

+ Why the name Oyster Creek?

My husband and I live on Oyster Creek just outside of Houston. We love living on the water and my husband is an avid (slightly obsessed) fisherman.

+ Do you work with clients outside of Houston?

Yes, absolutely! We have worked with clients all over the country. Travel fees are minimal in the big scheme of things. And we love FaceTime!

+ What does full-service mean?

Full service means we design, order, and install the entire room turnkey. That includes all the furniture, flooring finishes, lighting, window treatments, and all the accessories.

+ Do you offer virtual designs or e-design services?

No, unfortunately we do not offer virtual designs at this time. However, we work with clients all over the country if it’s a full-service project.

+ What if I need help with multiple rooms and I already own some of the furniture pieces. Can you help?

It depends. If your existing furniture is in line with our OCS aesthetic and you meet our minimum $50k furniture spend. We try to be flexible and work with existing pieces but we prefer to start with a blank slate!

+ What does the average living room cost to be completely furnished by OCS?

It all comes down to the scale and size of the room. An average size living room in our portfolio can cost between $45k - $65k. This includes furniture, décor, chandelier, lamps, custom throw pillows, rug, custom art, and custom drapery. OCS design fees not included.

+ What does the average master bedroom cost to be completely furnished by OCS?

Again, it all depends on the scale and size of the room. The master bedrooms in our portfolio can cost between $30k - $50k. This includes bed, bedding, chandelier, nightstands, dresser, lamps, décor, rug, upholstered bench, and custom drapery. OCS design fees not included.

+ What does “To-the-Trade” mean?

Trade refers to the designers/business owners that are able to buy items at a wholesale price. Furniture showrooms are manufacturers and do not sell to the general public but to-the-trade only (to designers). Designers must have a registered sales tax id to purchase from a trade showroom. Big box furniture stores are all considered retail stores. We do not typically shop at retail stores. Instead we source from trade showrooms.

+ I just want to buy a custom piece of OCS furniture. Can I do that?

You can! Visit the "Shop" page to see our custom Oyster Creek Collection pieces that can be yours!
